File Cards: File manager for classic & modern devices, supports ink-based shortcuts
File Cards is a revolutionary file manager reinvented for productivity on mouse and keyboard, touch and ink devices. Use cards, zoomed out view and workspaces to navigate your huge collection of files and folders as easy you would navigate Google maps.
It also has one rather unique feature.
If you try to use the pen in nearly every app outside of taking nodes, you might not feel like they were made with inking in mind. That’s why File Cards app introduces ink shortcuts, which don’t just bring the pen input to the same level of usability like other methods of input, but actually raises the bar and making it the most efficient way of interaction.
In some way ink shortcuts are similar to keyboard shortcuts, and too make things easier even the same characters are used in File Cards app. To execute the command you just write a shortcut character over the item. For example, if you write ‘c’ over the file it will be copied. If you write ‘n’ over the card a new folder will be created in the folder. You can take a look in the example video.
