This days it’s not a surprise anymore when we see developers doing things you won’t expect with Nokia/Microsoft devices. So few months ago some guys got legacy versions of Android running on a Lumia 520. Today we see more people bringin Android 7.0 Nougat to this device and the 525
The system that is running on the phone is a Resurrection Remix 5.8.0 ROM based on Android 7.1, which is the latest version directly from Google, with some modifications and extra features.
The ROM offers a full Nougat installation with all the features you would expect from a mid-range Android device.
Performances may not be as satisfating as a Samsung flagship would, but if you think about it, it’s a four year old device running a non-native OS, and it’s also interesting what a old processor can yet do. Anyway, there’s not a trace of any instruction from the developer on how to install it, but looking at it it might get public soon
