Facebook has today introduced a new feature called Archive its Instagram app for users on Android, iOS and soon to be available on Windows 10. This feature allows you to be able to hide/unhide pictures from your followers on your Instagram profile. It moves these pictures to new private folder that would be only visible to you and folder is called “Archived Postsâ€.
Well if you have some old junk or embarrassing posts on your profile you can hide them and make them available for your use.To hide your posts just open your profile on Instagram app and open any post you want to archive. Tap the options (… button) at the top of the post and select Archive. That post will no longer be visible to your followers. You can see them in a newly created archive folder in your profile. To unhide any post simply repeat the above procedure.
This is what Instagram has to say: “Your profile is a representation of who you are and evolves with you over time, With this new feature, you now have more flexibility to shape your profile while still preserving moments that matter.â€
