Long-time Windows phone users must know that several developers decided to leave the platform lately given all the uncertainty, so it shouldnâ€™t come as a big surprise that UK carrier EE is doing the same thing.
It appears that the firm is pulling its Windows Phone app and telling users to point their browsers to the official website to continue access its service instead, which is pretty much the common solution that everyone jumping ship provides to users.
A reason for this decision hasnâ€™t been provided, but itâ€™s not difficult to figure out that itâ€™s all happening because of the declining market share. This is what the majority of developers said when deciding to leave the platform, explaining that focusing all efforts on Android and iOS makes more sense than working on an app for Windows Phone where the number of users drops every day.
